Getting Started
Starting an
ArrowFaith program is easy. All you need is a safe
place to shoot archery, some simple program equipment,
and a certified archery instructor. You'll also
need the Instructor Guide for your teacher, and a
Student Guide/Drills & Skills Student Guide for each
participant.
ArrowFaith
Instructor Guide
This information
booklet contains everything a certified archery
instructor needs to run a safe ArrowFaith program.
Archery instructors who
are already certified by USA Archery, NFAA, 4-H, Scouts,
or National Archery in the Schools Program (NASP) can
follow the easy lesson plans and diagrams.
Included are teaching
tips for the shooting skills that are taught, and tips
on additional scripture examples for additional
learning.
Not a certified
instructor? No problem!
Contact NADA to become an instructor, or to contract
with one to help run your program.
ArrowFaith
Student Guide
Each program
participant uses their own personal copy of the Student
Guide that contains the goals and scriptural lessons.
With their Guide, each participant can track their progress
with journal entries that can be used for discussions of
faith.
The Guide
also includes information about the great sport of archery
with highlights of the types of archery and the
organizations that sanction clubs and events.
Drills
& Skills Guide
This guidebook contains the archery Drills & Skills that are
part of the basic training programs of USA Archery, National
Field Archery Association and NADA.
Created by NADA, the drills and skills make learning
shooting form fun. Each section is illustrated with
the drill, then narrated clearly to make the lesson easy to
understand and successful.
Archery
Instructor Support
NADA can provide instructor training
courses, coach referrals, and access to equipment (both
rental and for sale) for programs. Visit the NADA
website for details.
